Ah munna eat choo!
I stopped in El Paso, TX for lunch, at L & J Cafe (based on Yelp reviews, of course).

It was about 2 PM, and I expected the place to be fairly empty. It was completely full! Even the bar was full, and people were standing around it waiting!
So I decided to get the food to go, and eat it a bit later. While waiting for them to prepare the order, I stopped by an antiques store next door. They had a bunch of interesting stuff, like this old Radio Flyer tricycle:

While there, I go into the bathroom. While I’m inside there, I hear a rustling sound, and a cat pops out from under the closet door. It runs to get out of the bathroom, sees that the door is closed, and hides back in the closet.
The second I open the bathroom door, the cat bolts out onto the patio, and proceeds to stare at me.
You entered my secret hiding place! Now I’m gonna eat you!

Eh, maybe later…

The food at L & J was excellent. But not particularly special-looking, so I didn’t take any pictures of it. I couldn’t find a decent rest stop to eat at, so I ended up stopping at a small town called Fabens, and ate lunch on the side of the road next to a pecan farm.
